We are delighted to offer a package for schools and nurseries in your woodland setting.
Hedgehog’s approach focuses on innovative ways to engage pupils in Forest School in more urban environments where access to outdoor space is constrained. We will come to your site and show you how you can use it to enhance outdoor learning as well as Forest School sessions. (Setting s will need some outdoor, grassy space/woodland).

Our taster sessions are designed to give participants a taste of the richness and creativity of Forest School learning, particularly in more urban settings. They offer an opportunity to meet your trainer, explore your venue and get a better understanding of what Forest School training entails.
They are open to teachers, trainee teachers, NQTs, nursery teams, youth workers, parents and anyone wanting to find out more about Forest School and/or considering embarking on Forest School training.
There is also the opportunity for us to then return and work with a group of children to see a session in action (pricing for these sessions available on request).
Your trainer, Emma Lynch, has been a teacher for 25 years as well as a deputy head teacher, she completed her Level 3 Forest School training in 2016, and has been delivering Forest School sessions to children in and around the Greater Manchester area since then.
She opened Hedgehogs Woodland Adventures in 2017 with her partner Oliver Hodkinson and also runs adult learning sessions, outdoor holiday clubs, family events, pre-school sessions and woodland parties.
